The first day of Autumn brings us so much excitement in the beer world. Not only has football season kicked off, but we are gearing up for the Great American Beer Festival season. Even though GABF is cancelled this year, many of our on-premise partners are getting creative with socially distanced events and they are still planning on selling the best beers we can get to this great state.

Everything looks so different this year, stadiums are at half capacity, the largest beer event in the nation is cancelled, but we are still bringing some AMAZING beers from our partners. This includes some extremely limited, one-time beers coming through our doors.

Singlecut Beersmiths

Our GABF drops continue with a very rare supplier and plentiful new SKUs never before seen in Colorado! We are proud to bring Singlecut Beersmiths from Queens, New York back to Colorado! Makers of some of the finest IPA’s and lagers in the country, Singlecut started brewing “Hazy” IPA’s since their inception in 2012. One of their first beers was 18-watt IPA, a very easy drinking and full flavored 5% IPA. This is as good as it gets for an IPA at 5% ABV or less. Seriously, how did they pack all that juicy piney flavor in such a small beer?

In addition to IPA’s, this brewery knows how to work with those bottom-feeding lagers. They take their lager program very seriously and are one of the few breweries in the country with horizontal lager tanks. Their Plaintop Pilsner is a prime example of what they can do in this realm. They use premium European for a classic soft malt mouthfeel and premium hops from New Zealand, Czech Public and the Pacific Northwest to create fruity aromatics and a slightly bitter finish. We love that they are able to combine traditional ingredients and put their own Singlecut spin on it. We did not get much and the beer is expected to fly out of our warehouse and off your shelfs. Get it while it’s around.

Almanac Beer Company

Almanac has been one of our best buds for a very long time. It seems like their beer just gets better and better every drop we get. We only received a small amount of their sours (which are unbelievably delicious) that will be sent out for GABF events.

The staple beer of this shipment was named after the primary emotion people feel when they drink it, Love IPA. Why do they love it? Because it has all the hops people want- Mosaic, Citra and Sabro. Yep, that’s right, one of the most thoughtful, high-quality producers in the all of the lands was kind enough to send up one of their most hype-driven, hazy hop bills so far in the 21t century. Ain’t we lucky…

Toppling Goliath Brewing

Did you think Pseudo Sue could be any tastier? We didn’t until we saw what they did with the juiciest southern hemisphere hops money can buy. Another Top 30 Pale Ale in the country according to Rate Beer and Beer Advocate. Galaxy Psuedo Sue is “forged from the raw elements of the universe, this beer’s hoppy flavor comes from the celestial alignment of both Galaxy and Citra hops. Galaxy dry-hopped Pseudo Sue dwarfs all other pale ales.”
