Ahh, February, you’re here again and we are so thankful for you and the dark, thick beers that you bring to us. That’s right, it is Stout Month! In the beer industry that is a BIG deal. Big flavor, big pours and big flavor are the things that dreams are made of. Here at CSA the past two weeks have felt a little like GABF. With The Alchemist, Lawson’s, Boneyard, Beachwood, Old Nation, Toppling Goliath, Mountains Walking, and more our trucks have been full with huge orders going out. We brought a ton of beer to Colorado to help smooth the transition out of Dry January.

Prairie Artisan Ales

Prairie Artisan Ales from Oklahoma brought us an incredible lineup of their stouts and barrel aged goodness. Bourbon Paradise, You Gotta Horchata, Barrel Aged Mocha Noir, Barrel Aged Weekend, and their tried and true favorite, BOMB!

Perennial Artisan Ales

It has been a while, but we just received fresh restocks of Perennial Artisan Ales including 2020 Abraxas and Sump Coffee Stout. Abraxas is an Imperial Stout brewed with ancho chili peppers, cacao nibs, vanilla beans, and cinnamon sticks. Sump Coffee Stout is an Imperial Stout brewed with Sump Coffee from Oaxaca, Mexico. We also got House Clouds and Saison De Lis, which neither are stouts, but deserve a shout out because they are darn good brews.

Ecliptic Brewing

This variation of the Oort Imperial Stout is a special edition for 2021. They used their traditional Oort recipe and added in flavors of flavors of real raspberries, lemon zest, cinnamon, cloves and hazelnuts, creating a beer-y twist on the fruity & nutty flavors of an Austrian Linzer Torte pastry. Needless to say, this stout is delicious and worth every single sip.

We want to give a HUGE shoutout to our operations team, drivers and sales team! It has been an INSANE few weeks here at CSA and we continually grateful for the amount of work that our people put in to delivering the best craft beer around this great state of Colorado. We are able to have the success we do with bringing in new suppliers, specialty variants and one-off drops because they work their behinds off on a daily basis!
