Big things are happening over here at CSA this week and we mean HUGE! Throughout the years, we have continually been playing a game of Tetris whenever we gain a new partnership or bring in new, very awesome beers, ciders, hard kombucha and spirits. 2020 has brought us some enormous challenges, but we have shifted our operations to accommodate all restrictions and continue operating at full capacity.

That capacity is growing upward. Our warehouse is installing much more pallet racking then ever before! In short, that means that we will be able to expand our portfolio and hold a much greater quantity of juice to distribute to the beautiful state of Colorado.

Let’s get into our bomb releases for this week….

Crooked Stave & Angry Orchard Collaboration

Chad Yakobson founder and master brewer of Crooked Stave has been long time friends with Head Cidermaker Ryan Burk, of Angry Orchard. All the way back in the very distant 2019, Chad and Ryan hosted a collaboration event at Goed Zuur which helped spark these two collaboration releases. They have been tossing around and brainstorming ideas but ultimately wanted to perfectly execute a Graf (mix of beer and cider) of sorts. See D’Light and Appleation both utilize an apple cider must from Angry Orchard’s Walden Orchard. The varietals were especially chosen by these extraordinary minds and they combined it with Crooked Stave’s golden sour base. Throw in Crooked Stave’s house microbes and some spontaneously fermented yeast and you have a uniquely delicious concoction.
These beers perfectly balance a stone-fruit sour beer base with a ripe crisp apple cider flavor. See D’Light received extended oak aging while Appleation was double dry hopped with Cascade hops grown in New Zealand. These Sour/Cider blends reminisce of a cozy winter night around a fire. We are very thankful to be able to collaborate with the leader of cider in the United States and expand the limits of beer!

Toppling Goliath

Inspired by a trip to the West Coast, our friends at Toppling Goliath Brewing Co. brewed this true-to-style West Coast IPA as an ode to the adventure seekers. By blending Citra, Mosaic, Galaxy and Nelson hops, this hazy IPA has citrusy-orange highlights with a resinous full body. Enjoy this beer with friends and a wild spirit. This beer clocks in at 7.2% ABV and 50 IBUs.

Untitled Art

Untitled Art undoubtedly puts out some of the most decadent and delicious beers that come through our doors. Their Florida Seltzer line is no exception. They are a little lighter than their typical brews, but there is no sacrifice of flavor. Light and refreshing, these seltzers are a must try for the bubble-water drinkers in your life. These are perfect for whatever time of day works with your quarantine schedule. You can actually taste the quality in every sip.

Big things are happening here at CSA, but we are keeping the goods coming through and sticking to our normal schedule before the holidays. Check back next week for more releases and restocks. Stay safe out there and please drink responsibly.
